What is Volunteering?
Volunteering is a personal commitment to help the less fortunate in society.
This commitment means a sacrifice of time and energy.
A responsible volunteer is one who:

2. knows the amount of time to realistically commit to volunteering;
3. is familiar with and works towards the project's objectives;
4. sets realistic milestones and goals for the trainees;
5. plans and carries out programmes with full commitment;
6. informs his fellow volunteers / group leader in advance of his absence, and ensures that the group programme would carry out smoothly during his absence;
7. reviews programmes and trainees' performance regularly.
