Our Programmes: Team Activities


TA is the last component of our regular session, and usually runs from 5pm to 5.30pm, with the following objectives:

  • Promote interactions amongst volunteers and members through mass participation in both outdoor and indoor activities
  • Endorse healthy lifestyles as well as physical and mental fitness, including arrangements for health screening when necessary
  • Encourages the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play in a competitive environment
  • Strike a balance between fun and safety in order to let the members enjoy themselves to the fullest

Plans for 2012/2013

The TA committee will plan activities which is suitable for each and everyone in the Project. In addition, TA aims to organise activities which are team or mass based, such as a specific dance (e.g. line dancing, limbo rock) or sports (e.g. martial arts) or activities (e.g. jigsaw puzzles, spring cleaning, mini projects).

TA committee plays a role in organising team-building activities, monitoring fitness level of members, inculcate values of sportsmanship and emphasizing the importance of healthy life style to our trainees in RO.
